I know BBLs are going out of style (supposedly) but I still feel like there’s this expectation for Black women’s bodies to look a certain way, the perfect way, especially when we are plus-sized.

Since losing ~80lbs, I honestly hate the way my butt looks. It’s like weirdly concave? I can’t explain it. Basically, I need to get on somebody’s stair master 🤭😩🤣. Until then, I still have to show yall this cute fit from @fabletics.

While I loathe how quickly time seems to be passing by these days, I do find myself looking forward to the spring. To lush green trees and going frolicking. I’m reminded of the beauty in growth, renewal, and the simple joys of sunshine and fresh air. Being barefoot in grass. Grounded.

Mitch recently signed me up for a monthly subscription with @gracerosefarm and I’m so excited! He said “you’ll get it at the end of each month, so you’ll have beautiful flowers going into each new month.” I love it here!

Today was a good day 🤍

How has your Sunday gone? I had no intentions of getting out of the house today, but then I changed my mind at the last minute because I needed to stop moping around. Mitch patiently waited the extra 20 minutes it took me to get ready, and I’m so glad that I got my behind up.

Now it’s time to get this fried chicken going! Happy Sunday everyone - I hoped this chased the scaries away.
