The air is changing, the days are stretching a little longer, and my world is slowly waking up again. There have been these gentle reminders from Spring that ✨new beginnings✨ are always possible. That even after the longest, most heartbreaking of winters, beauty can still bloom.

There’s so much to look forward to…
☀️ Sun-drenched mornings with fresh lemonade on the porch.
💐 Fresh flowers scenting our home
🍓 Festivals, markets, and the best produce
🛋️ The urge to refresh and breathe new life into our spaces; hello! Annual deep clean
🌿 Warm breezes through open windows, carrying the scent of something new (like freshly cut grass)

Spring invites us to soften, to embrace joy, and to be brave and continue to step into every season with light, grace, and possibility.

We did headshots recently, and I after I got my photos back, I realized I’ll never be able to take myself too seriously 🤣. I have a very serious job/career and all my photos SCREAM bubbly princess 🤦🏾‍♀️. It is, what it is.

I’m just so glad to finally have professional headshots. @chloejackmanphotography did her thing! Which one is your favorite?!

Crab stuffed salmon, but make it ✨PASTA✨

You’re gonna want to run this one back 💁🏾‍♀️

INGREDIENTS
2 salmon fillets about 1 lb (1 large fillet is also fine)
1 cup of REAL crab meat 1 teaspoon kosher salt divided, plus more for pasta water ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes  12 ounces linguine 2 tablespoons garlic and herb butter (cc @kerrygoldusa)
1 tablespoon olive oil  5 garlic cloves minced 1 ¼ cups heavy cream ½ cup dry white wine
1/3 cup of chicken broth
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan  1 teaspoon grated lemon zest 1 box baby spinach 5 ounces
1/2 - 1 cup or cherry tomatoes  2 tablespoons capers

One of things I’ve really loved learning is the art of making a home.

There’s something so beautiful about designing and creating a home. I’ve learned so much about myself. It’s been a wonderful journey.

Recently, I’ve been collecting old books so that I can redesign our bookshelves. Because I like collected looks, something like this is quite the chore for me. I’m not buying based off something I saw in a magazine or online, I’m collecting bit by bit. Brick by BRICK 🤭!

Truth be told, I’m still developing my eye; so, I’m very pleased with the way this side turned out. It took over a month for me to “press play” on this, because it’s my version of DIY. Plus, I was so nervous to change anything, because I really loved the way they looked before.

And gosh, I’ve been feeling so unmotivated in the creativity department. I’ve also been prioritizing my career and IVF. Still, I’m hoping this is the beginning of me getting back to myself, a bit. Just imagine the fresh flower looks! Eek!

I’m not even going to ask yall what you think, because I don’t care. Respectfully 🩵.
