Tasty Tuesday: One pot lasagne soup!

INGREDIENTS

2 tsp. olive oil
8 ounces mild Italian sausage or spicy
1 pound ground beef; lean ground sirloin
1 large yellow onion, chopped
4 large garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1 jar of pasta sauce
1 can Italian style diced tomatoes
1-2 bay leaves
6 c. low-sodium chicken stock
8 lasagna noodles broken into pieces
1/2 c. fresh basil leaves, sliced thinly
2 heaping spoons ricotta
Extra ricotta for topping everything off!

It’s all in the details

Haven’t done a table in awhile, so I needed to get back to my normal. This was my first time using a tablecloth on our dining room table, and I love the way it turned out. It really just brings everything together. I can’t wait to play around with patterns.

If y’all have any suggestions for first time sewers let me know. Tablecloths are crazy expensive, so my goal is to learn how to sew my own.
