Are you looking for a recipe for easy flank fajitas – perfect for any night of the week? Well look no further. Ok look below though (lol).
Note — You’re going to need charcoal and a grill!
Ingredients:
- 1.5-2lbs of Flank Steak
- 1 Orange bell-pepper
- 1 Red bell-pepper
- 1 Onion
- 2 tbsp of garlic; minced (we are garlic people, there’s no right or wrong amount here)
- 1 tbsp of black pepper
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2 tsp paprika
- 3-4 sprigs of thyme
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 pk of your fave tortillas
Cooking Directions:
- Go ahead and wash that flank to your specifications. Pat it off. Place flank in shallow container, adding garlic, salt, paprika, thyme, and soy sauce. Cover. Marinate for one hour
- Heat up the grill; wait til flames almost completely die out
- Grill flank over medium-high heat until cooked to your specifications (we do medium to medium well)
- Let flank rest for 10 minutes, loosely covering it with aluminum foul before cutting
- Meanwhile, warm tortillas on the grill
- In a large saute pan, heat 2 tablespoons oil over medium-high heat. When simmering, add peppers and onion. Season with salt and pepper and saute until softened and caramelized around the edges, about 6 to 8 minutes (Note: 4-5 minutes if you want veggies to be crispy)
VOILA! FLANK FAJITAS!! ENJOY!!!
