Life lately …

I’ve been meeting yall in stories these past several months bc that’s what I have to give. My mental health and growing Elizabeth 🌈 are my biggest priorities. I had every intention of documenting and sharing every bit of this pregnancy, but truth be told, pregnancy is hard. Because of this, I’ve simply been spending my days BEing/nesting/doing absolutely nothing.

Officially 32 weeks. Wow. As I write this, my babygirl parkours in my belly. I’m thinking about the days ahead. The preparation. How Mitch has been just absolutely amazing. I’ve seen it said that how a man treats you during pregnancy reveals who he really is and my God did I choose a good one.

The nursery is under construction but coming along beautifully. I can’t wait to share. For now though, yall will have to continue settle for sporadic posts (and an occasional word from our sponsors — hey, somebody’s gotta pay for that nursery 🤭).

Won’t you stay until the end?

This morning before I got out of bed, I had myself a gratitude cry. Life has just been so slow and lovely, that I was overwhelmed … in a good way. In a meaningful way.

I’ve been planning to give a life update. A bump update. A D, all of the above — update.

I shot my highest paid campaign (going live soon), I reached and surpassed viability week in my pregnancy, I’ve been fighting tooth and nail (and full on breakdowns) to switch OB practices so I can deliver at a hospital that makes me feel safe, I hung out with family I’ve not seen in 10+ years, I said “yes” to help, I’ve slowly started planning this nursery, and so much more.

Life has been generous and I’m beyond thankful to have the time to slow it down, and simply BE.

Last night during a mild panic attack, as Mitch was soothing me, he told me how proud of me he is. That he looks up to me.

I had a super long post drafted, but I’ll simply leave it here…

Mitch has had such unwavering faith, many times more so than me, but this ish has been hard. Infertility has stolen so much. Goodness, that sigh of relief he lets out in the video? I was like “yes babe, we can breathe.”

I don’t know who needs this reminder today, but KEEP GOING! KEEP FIGHTING for your dream. Don’t you dare give up.

I think we win for moments that feel like @hozier yell 🥹🥹🥹. Not that it’s a competition 😊.
